The **Youth Red Cross (YRC)** unit of Aggarwal College Ballabgarh proudly organized a significant event to mark **World Health Day**, aiming to spread awareness on global health issues, personal hygiene, and preventive care among students.
The program commenced with a keynote address from a renowned public health expert who spoke on the importance of wellness, balanced diet, exercise, and mental well-being. Students were encouraged to adopt healthy lifestyle habits and avoid sedentary routines.
The college infirmary team conducted free health checkups, including BMI, BP, and sugar level tests for students and staff. Nutritionists provided personalized tips based on the checkup reports. A live yoga demonstration was also held, promoting physical and mental balance.
Additionally, an exhibition was set up showcasing posters, charts, and infographics prepared by students, highlighting health-related themes like organ donation, communicable disease prevention, and sustainable health practices.
The event also hosted a Q&A segment where students got answers to their health-related concerns. The YRC team distributed free health kits containing masks, sanitizers, and immunity-boosting guides.
The Principal appreciated the YRC unit's effort in fostering health consciousness and emphasized making health a top priority in campus life. The event closed with the Health Pledge — a promise by all to nurture health, spread awareness, and build a disease-free community.
