Aggarwal College Ballabgarh organized an informative and hands-on “First Aid Camp” to spread awareness among students and staff about emergency health responses. The event was coordinated with certified medical practitioners and Red Cross volunteers to ensure accurate and real-time training.
The session commenced with an orientation on what constitutes a medical emergency and the golden rules of first aid. Topics such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), treatment for burns, wounds, fractures, choking, and unconsciousness were covered in-depth.
Live demos with mannequins and mock scenarios helped participants understand practical application. Students were also educated on the use of first aid kits, how to call emergency services, and how to remain calm under stress.
Posters and brochures were distributed with clear Do’s and Don’ts of basic medical aid, making it easier to remember during emergencies. Interactive Q&A sessions ensured that every doubt was addressed.
The college aims to cultivate not only academic knowledge but also life-saving skills through such vital workshops. The camp concluded with the distribution of participation certificates and a promise to host follow-up sessions in the future.
