Dear students,
It is really exciting to see that integration of tools of technology with education has created different opportunities wherein the learners play the role of active participants and use their creative abilities for economic problem solving. The motto of our department is to equip the young students with various economic tools and techniques so that they can shoulder the responsibility of successful managers and leaders in this era of liberalization and globalization where they have to deal with complex problems on day to day basis. This department is now crowning its path in important areas of higher studies in Economics. Our curriculum is designed to respond to the professional requirements of institutional clients such as public sector, private sector and insurance companies. Students of Economics are involved in discussing policy issues, including Union Budget, etc. that gives them good orientation of application of theory to policy issues. All this enhances the employability of our students in their respective disciplines in academia, industry, NGOs, etc. We are always happy to help students plan their Higher Education Certificate, Higher Education Diploma, Degree and Master programs.
